A lot of these Services that are keeping your Windows Vista bogged down you will NEVER use!

First, we will show you how to access the tool that will allow you to disable services and how to change them.

Click "Start", Settings", "Control Panel" and double-click this icon:

This window opens...

Double-click "Services" and this window opens...

Now, right-click "Distributed Link Tracking Client"" and click "Properties". This window will now open...

Like highlighted in the above screenshot, click the drop-down box, select "Manual" and click "OK".

Now that you know how to disable services, here is a safe list of services that are safe to disable:

Distributed Link Tracking Client (The one we showed you above)
Function Discovery Provider Host
Function Discovery Resource Publication
TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service
WebClient

There are many more Windows Vista services you can disable. However, things can get messy if you disable a service you need. Our list of services are 100% safe to disable.
